Account Manager
Location: Plano, TX, 25% travel (East Coast)
Our Exciting Opportunity
Ericsson’s Excellerate Account Manager will undergo a robust learning experience that goes beyond international job rotations and includes face to face and virtual learning led industry experts and faculty. The Excellerate program ensures participants gain real practical insight into our business, our stakeholders including communication service providers (CSP) across the globe, and how we integrate end-to-end solutions to ensure everyone worldwide is connected.
Our Early Career Program (ECP) is designed to bring out the best in you and help you achieve your Imagine Possible. The 18-month global programs are intended for recent graduates or professionals early in their career, encouraging and empowering the leaders in them.
The Account Manager will secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and objectives. Will actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations. Develop both internal and external relation/s in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful.
You will
• Be responsible to maximize customer relationships and loyalty
• Be expected to create sales opportunities that will generate profitability sales
• Oversee optimization of the account team’s performance and to enable seamless transition to operations
• Lead proposal and quotation processes including active participation in pricing and costing discussion
To be successful in the role you must have
• Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science or similar
• 3-5 years of experience of relationship sales
• Experience in the ICT industry preferred
• Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding
• You will need to have customer and market insight as well as negotiation skills
• Leadership experience
