About this opportunity
The Customer Unit Account Manager is a strategic role within Ericsson that offers an individual the opportunity to work with cross functional teams to drive new Sales and grow the business whilst building strong relationships with the Customer. This role also provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced Sales Directors to build knowledge and expertise in the Ericsson pre-Sales and post-sales process. Account Managers have overall account responsibility, that includes Sales, customer relationships, financial management, and a single point of escalation for the customer. The Account Manager will secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development engagements based on a fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations, and objectives. This role will also work closely with the Ericsson Project Management organization to ensure successful project fulfillment. The responsibility also covers Sales Unit governance for the respective scope areas.
You will
- Support Regional Sales Directors with new and existing customer opportunities.
- Identifying Sales leads and opportunities at a strategic level.
- Building strong cohesive relationships with key customer contacts.
- Preparation of Product and Services Quotes for the customer.
- Customer Power Point preparation and presentations
- Creation of Salesforce Opportunity deals and driving the Sales Process from opportunity to closed WONl.
- Support regional financial forecasting and tracking.
- Working across multiple Ericsson domains including Business Development, Project Management, Product Solutions, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to build Business solutions that meets and exceeds the needs of customer.
- Participate in Weekly, and Monthly Governance meetings for Sales & Delivery across the Core3 teams.
- Preparation of Customer Business Cases that helps differentiate the Ericsson solution from the market competition.
- Contributing to the Account Business Plan by brainstorming the Ericsson solutions and pricing that meets the Account and the customer goals for the upcoming calendar year.
- Ability to creatively resolve customer escalations by working through project related issues and finding WIN WIN solutions that meets the best interests of Ericsson and the Customer.
- Working with the Project Management team and ensuring all Sales Deals being delivered are profitable.
You will have
- University Degree -Bachelor of Business Administration, Science or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience of relationship sales or business development.
