The person hired for the position of Neogen Livestock USAC Sales Director, will be responsible for Managing and Leading direct reports to drive growth and execute on business priorities.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver on Neogen Livestock financial growth expectations across cattle and integrated proteins
- Provide direction, coaching, on boarding, development with assigned managers and sales team
- Conduct business planning to drive growth with producers, channel management, Strategic Accounts and focused market segments
- Develop sales strategies and adjust to meet changing market and competitive conditions for complex product lines
- Manage team to operational excellence and productivity, related to time and territory management, SFDC, managing pipeline, travel budget, monthly 1:1’s
- Work with cross functional business disciplines to leverage resources, provide input to for product development, distribution implementation, marketing program development and proposals for ways to improve effectiveness
- Develop long-lasting business relationships with key customers
- Requires approximately 50- 60% travel
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Minimum of (5) five years of sales or people management experience and proven track record of meeting/ exceeding goals and revenue attainment
- Strong business acumen. Demonstrate ability to analyze and execute on sales data, SDFC data and other performance metrics and tools
- Attention to detail, critical thinking
- Ability to motivate sales team
- Driver’s license is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Sales Management experience managing Regions and Strategic Accounts
- Animal Health Industry experience
- Large Account Contract Management experience
- Experience with "Solution Selling" methodologies and service agreements
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software programs

Travel: May include up to 50% overnight travel
