The Role: Corporate Business Development Leader
ADI is seeking to hire a new Corporate Business Development Lead to lead business development in an
emerging digital / medical device healthcare business for ADI. This is a new strategic initiative for the
company with high visibility and active sponsorship from the CEO. In this role you will partner with the senior
leadership team to execute the strategic direction for ADI’s flagship product line in the digital health
business. This innovation from ADI is poised to be a market disruptor accelerating future innovation in the
diagnostics space for ADI. As the Business Development lead you will have the opportunity to build a business
that is poised to be a significant growth engine for ADI over the next 5 years.
The ideal candidate will harness their scientific and business acumen and work with cross-functional teams
internally and externally to build ADI’s Digital Healthcare business portfolio. You will be responsible for:
Business Development
• Formulate and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for innovative clinical diagnostic tools.
• Identify, evaluate, and structure key deals to ensure maximum value creation throughout the product
life cycle.
• Manage a range of transactions, including alliances, collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, in and
out licensing initiatives, and other activities.
• Obtain and analyze market intelligence to inform decision-making.
• Promote the organization and enhance its reputation in the medical devices industry.

Customer/Market Development and Management
• Develop and lead a relationship management plan for strategic and complex potential markets and
customers.
• Manage key client and customer relationships, introducing relevant internal specialists. Establish and
develop long-term company-to-company relationships with customer decision-makers.
• Utilize expertise to gather and analyze complex customer data.
• Clarify mid to long-term customer needs and develop a specification of customer requirements.
• Configure complex product solutions and associated contractual terms that meet customer mid to
long-term needs, in collaboration with internal specialists.

Ecosystem Partnerships
• Leverage your track record in ecosystem partnerships to identify and establish strategic
collaborations that facilitate product development and market entry.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, regulatory bodies,
and research organizations.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and innovations in clinical diagnostics and keep the
team informed about these advancements.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record with in the medical devices field, with a specialization in clinical diagnostic
medical devices.
• Proven experience in efficiently scaling a business or product line, particularly within the framework
of a large-scale organization.
• Demonstrated success in business development, strategic partnerships, and deal-making.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, compliance and regulatory requirements, market
dynamics, R&D business processes and/or diagnostics platforms.
• Lead customer demos and presentations. Ability to develop materials such as documents,
presentations, and other communication tools for both internal and external facing activities.
• Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable business plans,
driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in articulating intricate business strategies to both internal and external
stakeholders, encompassing C-suite executives and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, transactions knowledge and negotiation skills.
