- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- 6+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This role will focus on transforming the sales process to enhance productivity, support sales training and development, and align the sales team's efforts with overall business objectives.
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who understands a sales organization. This role is responsible for developing sales optimizations strategies, that effectively prepare and equip the sales organization for meeting individual and organizational goals. This person works closely with sales leaders to develop key strategies, processes, and mechanisms, as well as overall thought leadership.
We are looking for a Sales Readiness Leader who will drive:
• Sales Optimization Strategy. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales optimization strategy that aligns with business goals and drives sales performance. Collaborate with sales leadership to identify gaps in sales processes and recommend solutions.
• Sales Readiness. Recommend programs, workshops, and upskilling opportunities to improve the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Create and maintain sales plays, playbooks, first call materials, and other sales-facing resources. Cross-collaborate with teams to drive change initiatives to drive sales improvements.
• Sales Technology, and Tools. Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement tools and technologies to support the sales team. Ensure the sales team is effectively utilizing sales tools. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales enablement initiatives.
The preferred location for this position is Arlington, VA (HQ2) or Seattle, WA (HQ).
