- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership and leading data-driven analyses

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. The AWS Industries (AWSI) organization supports Fortune 200 enterprise organizations with multi-national operations and decentralized IT decision making in their journey to AWS. Within AWSI, the Business Insights & Operations (BIO) team are seeking an experienced Sales Strategy & Operations Lead who will provide operational and analytical support to the sales team.
As a member of the Business Operations team, this person will take ownership of strategic projects around Pipeline and Opportunity Management in order to driving standardization, automation, and scalability across core processes. You will identify and pilot innovative solutions, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the customer experience.
Your role will also involve cross-functional collaboration, partnering closely with other AWS stakeholders, such as AGS, Global Services, Partner Sales, and Public Sector, to align on project requirements, drive operational consistency, and optimize decision-making.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems. The candidate will be able to roll-up their sleeves, and work directly with the models/data, be detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has experience in program management and has a deep analytic background.
