Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. The Edge Service Go-To-Market-Specialist (GTMS) team is looking for a highly motivated GTM Specialist to drive messaging, positioning, advocacy, and go-to-market strategies for our Edge Service business (Amazon CloudFront, AWS WAF, AWS Shield and AWS Elemental).
As a key team member in in this space you will lead our market development efforts, establish compelling messaging, drive global adoption, and help shape AWS’s position within the space of Content Delivery, Security, and Media Services. You will create compelling content to help customers understand service use cases and value propositions, and build the right programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. You will get to work on a new and rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.
The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and how they can be used to create business outcomes, the ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging and materials, and experience building and improving scalable market development mechanisms to deliver results. A proven track record of excelling in a data-driven go-to-market or product marketing roles is key. Content Delivery, Security, and Media & Entertainment industry subject-matter expertise desired.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with other GTM/BD and SA Specialists in the Edge Services and adjacent domains to create compelling content to support campaigns, customer engagement, partner enablement, service evangelism, and field enablement programs
- Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (e.g. presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos) that land Edge Service product value proposition
- Engage with customers and partners to drive Edge Services product awareness and advocacy
- Plan and execute initiatives at industry events to showcase product messaging, content, keynotes, and breakout sessions
- Collaborate with AWS field support teams to maintain internal sales hubs with the latest industry resources, value propositions, and sales enablement content
- Partner with other teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field teams, product, and events) to drive and execute on global GTM initiatives.
- Continuously measure and optimize initiatives
- work with Product Marketing and Analyst Relations teams to drive external engagement opportunities and up-level
