The Role and the Team
The primary goal of the Vice President, Commercial will be to execute a comprehensive go to market strategy for driving net new and incremental revenue. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of commercial sales organization that is based out of 3 remote offices. You will lead a team of experienced sales directors and, provide coaching and support to execute on revenue goals for the team. Additional responsibilities include:
- Run a world class inside commercial sales organization
- Lead a team of dedicated team of Regional Sales Directors, Managers and 150+ sellers
- Responsible for employee development to create our next generation of high caliber sellers and future leaders.
- Develop strategic plans with tactical execution to capture new business and grow wallet share from existing customers.
- Collaborate with Marketing for demand generation, inbound and outbound programs to drive high conversion rates on pipeline development.
- Drive GTM cadence and discipline on the sales process fundamentals
- Establish and maintain key customer and channel relationships
- Execute on a partner program to drive incremental high velocity revenue through the channel
- Manage accurate and predictable forecast on weekly basis.
- Partner with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and Support to close deals, drive revenue and adoption.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales leadership with progressive experience leading high growth / high velocity inside sales teams.
- 2nd line experience required; 3rd line background strongly preferred.
- Experience selling SaaS based Cyber Security solutions, ideally in an organization with a global presence.
- Strong background in new talent acquisition/hiring and enablement best practices, experience with back to office process.
- Enthusiastic and creative leader with ability to inspire team, drive sales process and foster high performance culture.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan to deliver on key performance metrics within inside sales; prospecting, engagement, pipeline build, forecasting, closure and retention.
- Experience managing predictable forecast for SMB/Commercial business via VARs, DMRs and Distribution. Existing Partner / Channel relationships with key partners preferred.
- Experience working with cross functional teams including channel, alliances, marketing, specialists, sales engineering and professional services
- Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills
- Based in either Sunnyvale-CA, Draper-UT or Pittsburg-PA. Ability to travel as needed.
