- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the Pickup and Returns team. This BDM will focus on expanding the locker footprint across North America by building enterprise partnerships to scale locations in the Multi-Family space. At Amazon Pickup and Returns we are transforming how quickly and conveniently Amazon delivers to its customers. Our partners want to work with us to host lockers so they can offer the latest convenience for their customers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of partners that include national and franchisee locations.
Key job responsibilities
- Expand relationships through increasing sales and improving processes.
- Innovate and partner with other internal organizations to continuously improve customer experience and profitability.
- Be responsible for the executive engagement at all levels of your business as well as acquiring similar new partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with internal Amazon partners through clear articulation of the business value proposition, looking for opportunities to surprise and delight our clients and end customer.
A day in the life
Day to day responsibilities include utilizing data to assess, negotiate and expand long term partnerships that will increase the network of residential lockers. In addition, providing new opportunities to existing relationships that will expand to more locations.
