In the Role
The Sales Director - High School Outreach will focus on building new channels to convert high school students into TripleTen’s IT Bootcamps.
This will be a full cycle sales role with a 60 / 40 split of closing individual pipelined sales from established channels and new business development geared towards high school students in all types of school models and backgrounds.
- Builds and manages a new sales pipeline with all types of high school models (public, private, charter, cyber, homeschool co-ops, ect) to drive organic growth of TripleTens High School Segment of the business.
- Convert and expand existing leads from established channels into sales (i.e this is a full cycle selling role)
- Balance a 60 / 40 split of closing sales from existing funnels and building new pipelines from developing relationships with schools, parents, and students.
- Develops and executes a prospecting strategy that sources new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, emails and networking.
- Maintains expertise in product knowledge of TripleTens product offerings, the IT Bootcamp industry, Higher Education STEM offerings and factors influencing the market environment.
- Craft and communicate TripleTens value proposition at a level appropriate for high school students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to drive individual sales and brand awareness.
- Conducts consultative sales conversations to understand students and parents needs, highlight TripleTens product differentiators and match them to each student appropriately.
- Supporting the planning, organization, and execution of new sales initiatives for high school audiences.
- Attend in-person marketing / networking events by attending local school events and conferences in your geographic area.
- Uses HubSpot to accurately track sales activities, communication, market data, and critical issues.
- Collaborates with colleagues from other departments to improve efficiency and facilitate a successful customer experience.
- Gather customer feedback to understand the customer experience deeply and share learnings to inform the sales team, go-to-market strategy, and product enhancements.
- 4+ years of successful K-12/ed-tech sales experience.
- Bachelor-level degree required.
- Must be based in the contiguous United States.
- Takes initiative to explore new ideas or approaches not tried before at TripleTen.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency demonstrating technology-based learning solutions.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, web-based presentation tools, CRM, and video-conference tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer-relation skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Must provide evidence of high speed internet at your selected remote work location.
- Travel Expectations: Up to 15% Regional and National Travel as needed by the business.
- Full Time Remote Role
- Base Salary $80 - $100k plus variable component, OTE up to $200k
