The Publisher Account Manager role is an integral role for the cultivation of deep and strategic relationships with partners that leverage Minute Media's monetization solutions and the STN Online video player. Reporting to the Director of Publisher Services and in close collaboration with Business Development, Operations, and Business Intelligence, you will own onboarding, upsell, and overall communications strategy with your accounts to evangelize the Minute Media & STN platform, drive adoption of our offerings, and deliver on our full value proposition to our clients.
What You'll Do
- Execute publisher onboarding and day-to-day account management including, but not limited to, high-touch customer service, consultative client support and regular business reviews
- Present and demonstrate the value of upsell product opportunities to your clients and drive incremental revenue to meet quarterly revenue goals
- Ongoing monitoring of account performance with proactive client communication regarding optimization opportunities
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of upsell and renewal opportunities in our CRM application
- Relay partner feedback and advocate for client requirements with Minute Media internal teams to inform product roadmap and business development strategy
- Collaborate with the Director of Publisher Services to develop and refine STN’s account management processes to scale our partners more effectively
Where you’ll be:
- Applicants will be accepted from US & Canada (Candidates must be willing to work in alignment with Eastern Time Zone hours)
The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $100,000 USD | 75,000-100,000 CAD. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for performance-based compensation. The benefits available for this position may include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, and 401(k) with company match. Actual benefits are based on country of residence.
What You Have
- 5+ years of account management experience with ad tech and/or online video, preferably at a Publisher, SSP, DSP or similar
- Proven experience successfully managing high-touch customer accounts
- Strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a track record of being effective and professional in client interactions and capable of effectively interacting with every level within an organization
- High-caliber critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including data analysis, which you can put into action to improve publishers’ performance
- Sense of urgency, independence, accountability, and agility suited to a dynamic startup environment
- Willingness and desire to learn and adopt new skills - both technical and non-technical -in order to realize effective solutions for your publishers
- Proficiency with standard business applications (Office, Google Suite, Looker, etc.)
- Can independently troubleshoot technical issues and effectively communicate solutions to publishers
- Ability to travel as needed
