Our client is a rapidly growing company in the jewelry industry, specializing in an online marketplace for diamonds and gemstones. They provide a platform for retailers to access a wide range of natural and lab-grown diamonds, colored gemstones, and melee. Their services include fulfillment, returns, shipping, quality control, credit options, and invoicing through a mobile app and platform. The company aims to simplify and make global jewelry trade accessible by empowering its users.
Coming off a period of significant growth, they’re looking to generate more top of funnel to feed a growing AE team. You will play a critical role in helping this company drive deeper penetration into their market. Given the massive TAM, the opportunity is enormous, and you’ll be calling on behalf of a market leader in the space.
This is a fractional SDR role, which pays commissions of $125 per qualified meeting.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 3+ years experience in sales development, cold calling, and prospecting
- Familiarity with B2B sales and technology
- Prior experience selling into retail or jewelry sectors is a plus
- Passion for sales as a craft, with a desire to always be learning and improving your craft
- Bonus – if you have experience in the jewelry industry or related fields
What you’ll do:
- Grow top of sales funnel through cold outbound campaigns
- Call into mobile-enriched leads who fit the target persona
- Pitch and qualify those leads
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using qualification criteria
- Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how the Client can solve them
- Develop strong sales and product knowledge
