Under the general direction of the Account Executive (AE) will coordinate marketing and sales for our home health agency. The AE will prepare marketing plans for obtaining and growing our patient acquisition and responsible for coordinating contract negotiations. Collaborates with internal and community partners. Provides education regarding Better Life services and philosophy. Collaborates with the Administrator, physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure the best outcome for patient, families, and referral sources.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve quarterly and annual referral and admission goals within assigned region/territory as set by the Secure Care Administrator
- Educate and motivate medical community about the benefits of in-home care and the unique benefits of Secure Care Home Health
- Educate medical community on what are home health appropriate referrals, patient and referral partner benefits
- Initiate, cultivate, develop, and enhance relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, ACOs, payers and other Referral Partners or Network Providers
- Develop and track time and territory management plan for complete coverage of assigned territory
- Makes 8 to 10 physician calls per day as well as numerous visits with office and hospital staff
- Leverage in-service events, formal and informal education events to insure delivery of Secure Care Home Health
- Maintain accurate record of all expenses and report to Secure Care Home Health on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with other members of the home health team within your assigned territory
- At all times, represent Secure Care Home Health professionally through care and/or services provided to all clients and patients
- Maintain the confidentiality of patients and families within Secure Care Home Health as per government mandates
- Additional duties, as assigned
Required Licenses/Certifications: - Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would provide required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- Bachelor's degree, required
- Minimum two-years of documented sales success, preferably in selling services to medical professionals within designated region
- Current State of Florida driver's license with driving record acceptable to Better Life Home Health insurance carrier, and reliable transportation
- Current Auto Insurance coverage
- Level II AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) background screening
- Skilled at:
- Strong communication skills with ability to listen.
- Ability to communicate and articulate Alivia Care services and benefits to medical professionals in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent presentation skills for both small and large audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously but yet support the needs of Alivia Care and your fellow team members.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, customer relationship management and sales force automation systems.
- Track record of success at self-driven sales (preferably medical service related).
