This position will be with Desert Environmental, LLC, an affiliate of WaterBridge Operating, LLC.
Summary of Position:The Account Manager will use a Business Development mind to match prospect's needs to Desert Environmental services and aim to secure long-term partnership. This role will be responsible for winning new business, growing, expanding, and maintaining revenues and numbers for our customers.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Having account ownership; managing targeted accounts in the respective lines of business, maintaining and growing client relationships, including follow-up, supporting, problem-solving, technical, regulatory, and service recommendations.
- Working with the Business Development Director in developing and implementing market strategies, market penetration, and business goals and objectives for their assigned lines of business.
- Maintaining company/contact information and documenting all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities.
- Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive client base, including network prospects and cold calling.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while expanding relationships within existing customer base.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure bids and proposals are delivered on time and in accordance with client expectations.
- Conducting contractual and service negotiations with prospective and established clients continually.
- Addressing billing concerns; administering collections on outstanding payments concerning delinquent accounts. Acting as liaison between the accounts receivables department for Desert Environmental and the client.
- Preparing detailed sales, new client, and activity reports for meetings.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with health and safety policies and legal compliance requirements; and brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, superintendent, and/or HSE.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Must be willing to drive to remote rig locations to establish and secure new business as well as maintain current clientele.
- Rig locations will vary, but are within the radius of Midland, TX and Carlsbad, NM.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of field sales experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Earth, GPS coordinates, or navigating to remote locations is highly preferred.
- Having experience with The Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) is preferred.
- Business-to-business (B2B) experience preferred.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have strong industry, selling, and negotiation skills to drive decision-making.
- Be able to collaborate effectively within a team and cross-functionally, both inside and outside the organization.
- Have waste industry or environmental experience preferred.
- Have the ability to manage time effectively.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Be computer literate (Microsoft office with Excel experience).
Working Conditions/Environment:- Operates in a field environment.
- Sales calls
- Onsite visits to customer sites (rig sites and remote locations)
- Frequent driving
Position Type:- This is a full-time position.
- Shift includes standard work week. Monday - Friday.
Position Location:- Location of direct business will be around Pecos, TX and Orla, TX.
Additional Key Information:- While the direct business will be conducted around remote locations of Pecos and Orla, Texas, Desert Environmental is broadening their scope of requirements.
- If you do not live within the approved radius of these two towns, Desert Environmental has multiple options for this position:
- We can offer company paid housing through our man camps.
- Per diem, if you bring a travel trailer or RV closer to location.
- Or a company vehicle can be provided if from closer surrounding areas, such as Midland, TX or Carlsbad, NM.
