You will be part of a strategic sales group working to disrupt the traditional compute industry to bring new and meaningful experiences to customers around the world. The Partner Development Rep will be responsible for driving net new pipeline to help grow our Snapdragon Compute device sales through commercial channel partners. The role will report to the Channel Account Sales Leader and will cover a specified group of partners in the US and/or Canada. In addition to identifying new pipeline, this person will also partner closely with channel partner sales teams to support customer conversations, deliver sales trainings, and inform the overall account sales strategy.
In this position you will be responsible for:
· Prospecting, managing, and closing sales with the partner sales organization
· Collaborating with internal & external sales and marketing teams to support lead generation activities
· Engaging with partner sellers to influence mindshare & the adoption of Windows on Snapdragon
· Driving wide-scale awareness in the partner community of use cases, wins, incentives, and customer offers
· Leveraging and becoming an expert with internal sales tools (CRM, social media and other Engagement Platforms) to stay organized, optimize partner touchpoints, and regularly report on success metrics
· Working closely with partner brand champions & sales leadership to create scale
· Directly engaging with partner-generated leads to help convert opportunities to sales
· Sharing best practices with respective members
Pending ongoing COVID guidelines, travel expectations within the respective territory will be approximately 30-40% to various partner sales offices & events.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of B2B channel sales or business development work experience
· OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of B2B channel sales or business development work experience
· OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of B2B channel sales or business development work experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in technology or business
· 2+ years of B2B channel sales or business development work experience
· Inside selling experience, indirect or direct, with the ability to provide a compelling value proposition to capture interest from a prospective client & channel sales organization
· Track record for exceeding sales goals
· Ability to successfully navigate inherent challenges/obstacles of new product adoption, and demonstrated experience in selling new or nascent technology/devices through resellers
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills
· Ability to influence a large number of channel sellers, while understanding different customer personas, challenges, and industries to pivot appropriate relevant message positioning
· Proficiency in presenting to large audiences, data-driven decision making, and CRM
· History of selling technical products and having a genuine interest in technology - PCs is highly relevant
· A challenger mindset is a plus
