Job Description
The primary duty of this role is to lead and manage a team of National Sales Relationship Consultants who have a specialized focus on serving the banking needs of U.S. Bank employees.
Job duties include the following:
Demonstrate and ensure all team members provide an excellent customer experience reflective of U.S. Bank culture and core values.
Be a leader for customer experience and provide motivation and direction for the team to identify the needs and enhanced benefits of U.S. Bank products and services.
Ensure goals are met to ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations.
Consistently coach, develop, mentor and train team members.
Exercise discretion with independent judgement in performing necessary duties.
Proactive engagement, and response to inbound calls and appointments for U.S. Bank employees.
Virtual and in person delivery of financial education presentations.
Utilize effective communication and critical thinking to identify financial resources for US Bank employees.
Fulfill US Bank employees' needs by providing direction and recommendations of appropriate products and services.
Consult with and assist US Bank employees reach their financial goals through collaboration with partners including wealth, business banking, mortgage, or payment services.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check.
Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically, a bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically, four to five years of banking and/or retail management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Solid understanding of retail product philosophy, including policies, procedures, documentation, and systems
- Working knowledge of employment practices
- Thorough knowledge of teller and platform functions, including but not limited to processing transactions, balancing cash, opening accounts, and sales techniques
- Effective interpersonal communication, relationship management, time management, sales activities management, and sales ability skills
- Analytical skills required to evaluate credit requests, prepare budgets and determine trends in a given marketplace
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, including rewards and recognition, employee development, and change management
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance
Location
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $86,360.00 - $101,600.00 - $111,760.00
