The Sales Strategic Planning & Operations group is looking for an experienced business leader to help drive organizational planning, strategic initiatives, and overall operational excellence for our global Partnerships and go-to-market efforts at Meta. This leader will partner deeply with many cross-functional teams, including sales, partnerships, marketing, business engineering, data science, data engineering, etc. The primary objective of the role is to enable revenue growth through data-driven business strategies and efficient operations. This role requires someone who has a skillset to juggle a range of tasks, including, but not limited to, resource planning and analysis, business goal definition, data-driven business reviews, sales pipeline reporting and analysis, internal communications, ad hoc data analysis, coordination and leadership of critical projects across the company, and contribution to the team and values.
Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Lead Responsibilities
Develop and implement scalable processes that promote governance and accountability
Lead and improve program management for core business processes, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation
Frame decisions and contribute an articulate point of view on how to scale the business backed in data
Develop an understanding of the business and be the person who can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration
Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of processes, tools, and technologies across global go-to-market teams
Lead regular business reviews to drive informed decision-making, review progress on goals and priorities, and present findings to an Executive audience.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in management consulting, finance, or similar sales strategy and operations roles
BA or bachelor degree in business
Leadership and influencing skills – experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
Results and detail oriented, with commercial/business acumen and demonstrated experience in translating complex concepts and terminology in order to drive understanding and buy-in from a diverse range of stakeholders
Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate combined with new opportunities for the larger organization and influencing operational efficiency initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Demonstrated to design and launch organization-wide scalable processes that promote governance and accountability
Demonstrated program management skills to drive large-scale projects to fruition, including goal setting, action planning, risk management, milestone tracking, KPI tracking, progress reporting and communications
Demonstrated experience in spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets) and presentations (e.g. PowerPoint, Slides)
Experience shifting priorities, balancing multiple initiatives at once, and maintaining organization
The candidate must be familiar with Meta’s platforms and products, has a proven track record of proactive operational leadership in a cross-functional environment, and can move fast to drive results
Preferred Qualifications
Master's or graduate degree
Experience in technology industry
Experience in Enterprise SaaS businesses, sales operations, and programs
Experience developing and/or overseeing advanced quantitative analysis and deriving actionable insights
Demonstrated interest for helping build great businesses and for Meta products
