The Key Account Manager (KAM) is a primary Field Sales role in Foodservice, assigned to a sales territory and responsible for growing MDLZ product share/consumption in that territory. Key responsibilities include calling on Non-Commercial operators including B&I, Health Care & schools K-12, as well as large independent operators and regional local chains. KAMs will also have direct sales responsibility for accelerating case growth within specific distributors in their regions. The KAMs primary objective is to execute MDLZ national & local snacking consumption programs, sell cases of new product launches, and sell cases of MDLZ Third Party finished desserts, including tracking results with associated Distribution. Effective collaboration with your counterparts, distribution team, and cross-functional partners are critical to this role.
How you will contribute
- Manages and leads collaborative business planning understanding Mondelez International strategic goals to develop and execute key partnership initiatives, category programs and drive brand sales.
- Collaborates with cross-functional representatives to ensure that Mondelez International delivers the full depth and breadth of resources that result in mutual benefits/results
- Accelerate activation with Key Non-Commercial partners, identify gaps and develop action plans to deliver results against our IC Snacking goals.
- Collaborates and fosters relationships with regional distribution/redistribution partners, understands portfolio and builds sales capabilities to facilitate execution and brand growth.
- Contacts/visits customers to review and identify strategic direction, problem areas and opportunities to promote product growth.
- Develops Account Business Plans including goals, key initiatives, major actions, key support needed, and new product recommendations.
- Develop relationships with all key decision makers, both internal and external.
- Keeps abreast of competitive activities within the responsible geographies and communicates appropriate activity in a timely manner.
- Activates Mondelez International category innovation also to include facilitating opportunities with Venture Brands, at regional and local levels within the Foodservice distributor/broker/redistributor network.
- Champions change through elimination of barriers and ongoing service issues to provide highest level of customer service.

Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Job specific requirements:
- 3+ years of foodservice sales related work experience.
- The ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects.
- Relationship management suppliers, contractors, customers.
- Must possess the ability to seek alternatives.
- MS Office Suite: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $66,100 to $90,925; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelēz offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others.
