A Day in the Life
The Endoscopy Associate Sales Rep supports a designated Region of Strategic Account Manager Reps. The individual will call on hospitals, physician offices, and locations where our products are used to treat patients. Their primary purpose is to represent the company and our product portfolio to the end user to facilitate purchases of our products. They will be required to demonstrate our product portfolio, teach clinicians how to use our products, and facilitate their purchase. They will provide procedural support on the effective use of all products in the Endoscopy portfolio.
Clinical Expertise
·Thoroughly understand product line features, benefits and clinical proof sources.
·Develop in-depth clinical knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the esophagus and the gastrointestinal tract.
·Fully assimilate clinical and journal articles relative to Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal adenocarcinoma, GI hemostasis, reflux testing, and inflammatory bowel disease diagnosis and management.
·Develop clinical champions for product adoption in existing accounts while increasing the user base.
Territory Support
·Increase disposable sales at existing accounts.
·Daily travel within region, including 1-2 overnights per month, required
·Establish relationships with hospital, ambulatory surgery, and office personnel where endoscopic procedures are performed or influenced.
·Teach clinicians how to use our products to include intraprocedural utilization of our technology.
·Develop a thorough understanding and ability to communicate the reimbursement environment for our products.
·Market development activities consisting of, but not limited to, calling on Primary Care Physicians and GI Physicians to drive awareness of disease state and treatment.
Administrative
·Consistently provide administrative requests from the home office such as salesforce.com documents, expense reports, sales reports, and other tracking requests.
·Create and share weekly activity calendar with the Region
·Contribute positively to the sales team through communication and sharing.
Awareness of and adherence to Advamed guidelines.
Position Success Metrics:
Objectives will be created through quarterly MBO’s to include, but not limited to, the metrics below:
•Increased disposable sales of assigned products and accounts
•# of physician/staff in services completed per quarter
•# of procedures covered per quarter
•# of market development activities completed to drive awareness of disease state and treatment
•Complete open territory key account coverage frequency, as assigned
•# of product leads created for the SAM and CSM teams

Desired/Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all functional areas.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Good computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel, and Word.
Emphasis in Business, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related preferred.
Field sales experience preferred.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$53,000 - $106,000The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
