Description
iNGAGED is a product division of Marsh McLennan Companies that develops custom communication platforms (inclusive of a custom branded native app) for our clients. The technology was created by in-house developers. The Account Manager position is a core part of our ability to deliver at a high level of precision.
The Account Manager will be responsible for the clients’ overall experience from implementation to the launch of the app and will maintain ongoing communication with the clients. The Account Manager handles multiple clients at a time, all in different phases: implementation, app launch, live app, etc.

A desired skill set would be someone who has worked with employee benefits in some capacity, due to the benefits content we build out for our clients. Previous account management experience would be a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Report to the Director of Client Services
- Develop a relationship with the broker teams
- Develop a relationship with the clients
- Effectively communicate both verbally and via email
- Ability to lead meetings and communicate professionally and positively
- Pay close attention to details – you will not be able to perform the duties of the job without this skill
- Vision strategy – responsible for getting the client excited about the app and talking through their vision or purpose of adding the app
- Participate in client calls and/or send updates out via email
- Create agendas for calls and note status of each task
- Collect app content (benefit guides, summaries, videos, URL’s, assets) to pass on to our content editors who build the apps
- Once content editor has built app, review the content that includes the accuracy of the information, layout, etc.
- Work with the broker on their open enrollment strategy as it relates to the app, what messages they will share, provide talking points, and PowerPoint slides if needed
- Update email templates in the client portal for onboarding emails, welcome email and password reset
- Work with the client’s Review Group during the app rollout to collect feedback on the app – ongoing conversations with client and broker on what changes they want to see made to the app
- Strategize with client on push notifications to be set up in advance of each month or quarter, base notifications on what is important to the client and offer suggestions on types of messages based on the seasons
- When there are issues/bugs with the app, whether discovered by you or your client, submit tickets through Service Now and follow the ticket to ensure client resolution
- Handle support tickets for a segment of the company (MMA) that utilize the app
- Monitor shared mailboxes where broker partners will notify client services of a new client
Professional Requirements
- College degree preferred, business, technology, or related field
- Comfort with mobile apps and desire to work in tech long-term
- Proficient in MS Office software suite, specifically Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills, problem solving ability and a goal driven mindset
- Good communication skills required
- Ability to work hard independently as well as in a team environment, and have fun doing it
- Bilingual is a plus
