- Support Sales Executive(s) in all capacitates required, specifically focusing on sales, events and visual merchandising at key accounts
- Homebase should be in NY MET area
- Ideal Work Week:
Mondays & Fridays: Office Days
- Organize, plan and communicate upcoming travel schedule based on key account’s delivery dates and events
- Assist with order assortment PDFs and selling tools for Sales Executives
- Assist with order entry
- Coordinate and communicate delivery timing with wholesale customer service team
- Communicate with events team on upcoming deadlines, proposal needs, and ideas
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Travel Days
- Visit 2-3 accounts each day (depending on travel time and workload at each account)
- Help merchandise new deliveries, provide product knowledge to staff, take inventory as needed (Essentials, Belts & T-Shirts)
- Recap account visits with corresponding Sales Executive: photos, opportunities, needs
- Promote the brand while building a strong network and relationships with golf professional staff
- Staff club events as needed (member-guests, large outings, etc.) when representative is needed
- Staff National Events when support is needed
- Attend Regional Markets when support is needed (set-up, appointments, tear down)
- Consistent travel to key accounts in NJ, NY (including Long Island), and CT
- Occasional (monthly or bi-monthly) travel to key accounts in Philadelphia & Boston
- Example: Visit Philadelphia accounts in March for shop set-ups, visit Boston accounts in April for shop set-ups.
COMPETENCIES:
- Understanding and appreciation of golf club/shop landscape- club nuances, professionalism, level of service
- Intimate knowledge of Peter Millar product line, competitive landscape and unrelenting attention to detail and customer service excellence.
- Visual merchandising skills: folding, table presentation, product knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated
- Manage and Navigate extensive and unpredictable travel and seasonal peak work hours
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2 years selling/providing sales support, outstanding visual merchandising skills
- Golf/Specialty Retail experience strongly preferred
