Position Overview: Job Purpose
The Sales Development Representative Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by managing and motivating a team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for generating leads and building pipelines. This leader will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to implement strategic prospecting initiatives, set KPIs, and develop the skills of each team member. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative thinker who has strong background in sales development, and demonstrates exceptional coaching skills to build a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for sourcing leads to help sell Oversight’s products and services.
- Develop and execute onboarding programs to equip new SDRs with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. This includes training in Oversight’s solutions, sales process, objection handling and outreach techniques.
- Tracks performance suggests modifications to sales strategy or approach.
- Has shared authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions within the SDR team.
- Has responsibility for team pipeline quota.
- Develops deep understanding of the product and trains team on conveying its value to prospects.
- Has experience with prospecting and cadence tools like ZoomInfo LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense and G2.com and ensures team is using them optimally.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce to update and track progress of the team’s metrics and lead conversion.
- Works closely with Marketing to follow up on campaigns, event/booth visits as well as digital leads to ensure team converts leads into sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, goal-setting sessions, and 1:1 coaching to ensure SDRs meet or exceed their KPIs.
- Passion to drive results and add to bottom line.
Other Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of experience.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as an SDR in a SaaS/Technology based company is a plus as well as 1-year SDR Leader experience.
- Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team, promoting a culture of success and accountability.
This position can be fully remote or work out of Oversight headquarters based in Atlanta, Georgia.
