Externally, you will work to meet clients’ immediate platform and data usage needs and be the point of contact for client servicing requirements, carry out engagement activities to drive adoption, and ensure they are gaining maximum value from their subscription. Internally, you are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date client information in internal systems (Salesforce), interpreting usage data and client issue resolution analysis, ensuring client learning materials are produced to a high standard and are up to date, and providing vital client feedback and intelligence to the relevant areas of the business by being the voice of the customer.
About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role

You will also liaise with the Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Product and Research teams globally to achieve commercial goals. Achieving a high retention rate is the main mission of the Client Success team and you will seek to do this through driving clients’ adoption of their subscriptions, assisting account managers with their expansion work through a soft sales approach, bring about client advocacy by contributing excellent customer service as a brand differentiator and forming strong relationships with key stakeholders across your accounts.
Qualifications
- Relevant undergraduate degree
- 2 years of hands-on experience working in a Client Success or similar role. Experience in a sustainability, risk, or ESG role would be a plus but is not essential, as would experience of working in a SaaS business.
- Well-developed communication skills which enable you to explain complex topics simply and engagingly to audiences with varying degrees of contextual and technical awareness and in multiple different contexts (calls and screen share interactions, in person formal presentations and training sessions, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration: you should be able to listen to, learn from, persuade, and build relationships with a range of clients and external and internal stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Detail orientation, problem-solving and organizational skills: you must be able to master the details of a range of data-analytic products, articulate the value proposition of qualitative analysis, autonomously manage a varied and demanding workflow, and proactively suggest solutions while still knowing when to draw in other subject matter experts from across the business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant postgraduate degree
- Strong written communication and analytical skills in relation to learning and training materials.
- Experience of operating in a global Client Success team, supporting a Sales team with the main objective of client retention, and equipped with an excellent team and collaboration skill set.
