This role is open to being fully remote outside of Austin, TX (Minimum requirement is to be based on CT, MT or ET Zones)

Adthena is a ‘Customer Value’ oriented business. As such, the Customer team is critical to our success. Our team consists of Account Management and Customer Success roles - both of which are critical to the success of our clients.
We work closely together to leverage each other's skills and abilities, ensuring our clients successfully achieve their goals. We work as a close-knit, highly functional team and contribute to the wider business by working closely with Sales and Marketing to encourage business alignment.

What you’ll do at Adthena….
As an individual contributor focused on client retention and growth, you'll work within the customer team, reporting to the Director of Account Management, to ensure that our clients are achieving their goals, and ultimately continuing to renew with Adthena year on year. You’ll not only ensure that our clients renew, but also uncover avenues for growth within those clients.

Understand the goals of the client and their decision-maker; where necessary, guide the client on achievable goals
Proactively build and foster relationships with multiple parties at multiple levels within the client's organization
Negotiate with clients during the renewal phase to ensure a win for both parties
Identify signs that a client may be at risk of not renewing, and develop strategies to address any risk promptly before the situation becomes critical
Project lead cross-functional teams to resolve client issues
Help Customer Marketing in developing compelling customer references and case studies
Deliver excellent customer satisfaction through impeccable service along with product and domain knowledge
Achieve Retention and Upsell quotas
Required Experience for the Role:
Previous experience as a practitioner in digital marketing, paid/organic search, multi-channel marketing agency or MarTech/AdTech SaaS
Confident and articulate communicator with proficiency in all forms of client interactions including verbal, email, and face-to-face
Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
Proficiency in using CRM for day-to-day client management and internal communication, strong preference for Salesforce, Planhat or CSM-centric platform
Proven ability to and preference for working collaboratively with tech product, marketing, and sales teams
Strong discovery skills with the ability and interest to act as a liaison, advocating for the customer by leveraging any internal resources necessary to anticipate customer needs and solve customer issues
Proven success in a consultative external client-facing role with the ability to influence C-Suite, utilizing industry best practices and creative thinking
Ownership of and success in retention and renewals in a SaaS environment
Thought leader who demonstrates the desire to be Smart & Always Improving
Ability to embrace and influence change, and to thrive in dynamic situations
