- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. The AWS Specialist & Partner (ASP) organization provides a unified, outstanding experience to customers working with thousands of partners worldwide. Our partners are our customers and we establish long-term, durable relationships to achieve success together. Within the ASP organization, the Consulting Partner Center Of Excellence (CCOE) works across all consulting partners globally to build the capability and capacity that we need to deliver value to our field and our customers. The CCOE is responsible for setting AWS’s global partner strategy for consulting partners, including Global System Integrators, national and local System Integrators, Distributors, Solution Providers, as well as the Business Consulting & Advisory Partners. The CCOE Operations Team supports our Leaders, Partner Development Managers and our Strategic Initiatives team so they can progress the CCOE vision throughout the organization.
The CCOE Operations team is seeking an experienced, self-directed, detailed oriented Sr. Partner Operations Lead with proven analytical skills, stakeholder engagements, collaboration, and communication skills to support the AWS Partner Organization. This candidate will be responsible for operational support of the leaders that work directly with our most strategic partners, ranging from creating insights from data and analysis provided from dashboards and data analysts, to developing Monthly Business Reviews at the individual partner and Partner Organization leader level. The ideal candidate will also have the skills to analytically think through issues and problem solving, conduct sales projections with the leaders, lead projects, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance tools and increase the productivity of our Partner Development Managers.
This is a high business impact role for a candidate who is passionate about taking ownership of managing multiple tasks and being a trusted business advisor. This candidate will contribute/author well-structured reporting documents and provide operational consultation using a data-first approach to articulate business impact to our stakeholders, leadership and customers.

This professional should be able to work with projects not well defined, with cross-functional teams in a productive and professional manner to research, create and deploy solutions that improve productivity. They should look to solve root causes of problems and innovate to develop processes and frameworks that scale with the business. This is a hands-on role; a successful candidate must be willing and eager to “roll up their sleeves”.
Key job responsibilities
- Business Insights and Consultation: Gather and report insights from the business through analyzing data, identifying trends, and looking around the corner to develop innovative solutions for those servicing our partners directly. Collaborate closely with partner leaders, functional stakeholders and other analysts to report on the consulting partner strategies and business outcomes.
- Rhythm of the Business (ROB): Be a trusted business partner to the leadership team, providing deep insights to help shape the strategy and improve the outcomes of the business. Provide such insights in written monthly business reviews. Provide guidance in best practices of business operations.
- Annual Planning: Assist the CCOE Operations Manager to develop key metrics and define performance indicators to measure overall impact and drive continuous improvement of the team. Aid Leaders and Partner Development Managers in forecasting and working with account planning, tools and mechanisms for annual planning and performance management.
- Productivity: Proactively identify and implement operational processes and/or reporting that simplify, standardize and enable operational excellence.
- Project Management: Lead projects that enhance efficiency to the Operations team and to the Partner Development Managers that work directly with our Partners. Research and deploy best tools, practices and efficiencies.
A day in the life
Day-to-day activities will include working closely with CCOE leaders and Partner Development Managers to gain insights to the business and improve goals/metrics attainment. Analysis and insights will be used in the monthly business review and visible throughout all levels of the organization, from the Partner Development Manager to the top AWS Partner Organization leaders. This person will also be engaged in several projects working across several disparate and diverse teams to improve systems and tools used by both operations and the sales teams.
