The Regional Sales Operations & Planning Manager - PRO is a critical support role to drive our Lift Off Planning Process that will feed directly into IVCP and AEP Planning. In this role you would be responsible for the full integration of the Sales Planning Process into our standard business process (e.g., S&OP, forecasting, incrementality, ROI, MBR/IRR action items). This role will lead and manage the sales planning process while working collaboratively with Finance, Strategic Revenue Management, Marketing, and Sales across the Region. The Sales Planning Operations Manager will act as a central point for PRO and work cross-functionally to own the planning process.
Responsibilities include consolidating data, tracking performance, and measuring KPI’s to drive accountability into the planning process measured in our periodic & quarterly business review. In addition, to managing the in-year forecasting process (Sales Phasing) so we can properly measure against our AEP.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Sales Planning, Analytics
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in process and Project management
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively work across multiple cross-functional teams & markets.
- Analyze and improve performance – effectively draw insights from data and develop collaborative solutions.
- High decision quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. MS Excel expertise and Salesforce required; Power Bi experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership capability to drive collaboration & business results.
- Demonstrated the ability to define and deliver on customer needs and expectations.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Primary lead for Sales Planning, AEP (Annual Execution Plan) Tracking Periodic & Quarterly Business Reviews
- Manage trade budget & phasing for Canada and US
- Customer-facing collaboration with sales teams to accurately manage distributor-level forecast & trade efficient activities across Canada and US
- Central point of contact for consolidating all sales analytics for the Business Unit across the Region
- Sales lead for cross functional Demand Management Review process incorporating the account level planning.
- Business planning and coordination across the two regions
- Quantifying activity-based account plans with product mix and trade investment validation.
- Responsible for delivering the quarterly & periodic business reviews and managing assumptions with posted risks & opportunities (Demand Management Review) for Canada & US.
- Collaborates with Account Teams to develop plans and execute with a portfolio and customer lens.
- Works with marketing to establish priorities for aggregating plans for pipeline, volume / recommendation estimates, and productivity to be consolidated and funneled into the S&OP process.
- Consolidation of distributor inputs to align on a demand signal
- Lead monthly reviews with the teams supporting critical decisions and providing recommendations to improve the planning process based on
- Improve recommender demand signal.
- Analyze customer & recommendation data for +/- vs. plan and history
- Responsible tracking customer performance of new items, discontinuations, new recommenders, promotions, program enhancements, etc.
- Responsible for all QMP processes associated with Sales Operations & Planning
