iCapital is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and experienced business development professional to join the SI Distribution team to further expand our relationships within the U.S. wealth space, primarily focused on Independent Broker Dealers, RIAs, and Wirehouses. This role will be instrumental in growing and expanding the company’s presence and client base for SI Distribution and will drive new business initiatives and the development of our GTM strategy. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prospecting new relationships, crafting compelling pitch decks, developing market analysis and strategy, engaging with potential clients through various channels, negotiating contracts, and leading implementation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Drive further adoption of iCapital’s SI Distribution capabilities.
- Centralize SI prospecting efforts and ensure team alignment for new areas of growth.
- Educate clients on the depth of the integrated distribution and technology’s capabilities and drive new mandates and business activities.
- Collaborate with other relationship managers and senior executives across the company to drive tactical and strategic initiatives regarding sales strategy and business development.
- Lead responses to RFPs, and work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams on client launches and strategic initiatives.
- Create and deliver executive presentations and report on key initiatives and business activity.
- Communicate feedback from clients and prospects to the organization to improve delivery of solutions and improve the overall client experience.
- Coordinate with the Heads of SI Advisor Sales and Issuer Relations on GTM strategies for new initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a business development/relationship management related role
- 7+ years of experience working within financial services or financial technology industry
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a complex and varied product set to Home Offices and/or Enterprise clients
- Robust knowledge and experience with Structured Investments
- Strong track record of building client relationships with key decision makers
- Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated ability in organizing client coverage across product lines and client channels, achieving depth of penetration and consolidated support models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic mindset and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated client service skills with key stakeholders and clients
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
