The Cash Management Assistant Vice President is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within the Digital, Tech and Comms space. Requires coordination and contribution to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Good communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct sales support to Global Solution Sales (GSS) in Digital, Tech and Comms. Position is focused on revenue generating activities associated with the sale of Treasury Products and Services. Activities may include: preparing proposals and pricing analysis, assist with RFPs and presentations, coordinate credit approvals and exception pricing, coordinate data input for tracking pipeline and activity
- Establishes and maintains relationships with Global Solution Sales and Bankers that are directly supported.
- Coverage on product sales related inquiries from Global Solution Sales, Bankers, other internal partners and clients
- Joins GSS on in person sales calls or conference calls when appropriate.
- Understanding of client trends in liquidity, working capital, risk management, treasury technology etc. and distill them for mass consumption and direct business impact.
- Knowledge of the TTS and CCB cash management business, revenue drivers, and products.
- Strong ability to work across direct and virtual teams, cutting across silos and boundaries, with the focus on driving value for client and new revenues for Citi.
- Proven abilities to focus resources and leverage data and analysis to drive towards business objectives.
- Desire to challenge the conventional, own a problem, bring others on board and drive the firm to creating solutions.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to gather consensus on priorities and drive initiatives.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, excel and analytical skills a must
- Keen abilities in delivering presentations and other forms of verbal and written communication including ways to leverage virtual communities, social media, Collaborate, surveys, etc.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Adheres to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years commercial banking or relevant experience
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
