Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. As a Strategic Sales Initiatives Leader within AWS Professional Services, you will work with customers, Professional Services sellers, and the wider AWS organization on strategic, large, complex sales initiatives by providing Sales and Program management expertise. You will coordinate the Professional Services efforts to collaborate with go-to-market, pan-Amazon, AWS services teams, and Partners in designing and shaping these initiatives to drive AWS business growth.
You will leverage your leadership skills to think and act globally, ensuring that customer experience remains at the forefront of our organization's priorities. Your ability to adapt, innovate, and drive positive change will be key as you help shape our customer experience strategy and implementation on a global scale. You will be an exceptional leader who is passionate about the Customer Experience, who thinks/acts globally, and who has experience with a wide range of problem solving situations.
Your experience with greenfield customers will be highly valued in this position. You'll bring excellent problem-solving and communication skills to the table, along with a strong track record of delivering impactful results. Your expertise in cross-team collaboration, project management, and executive presentations will be crucial for success in this role. A strong record of customer advocacy and influence without authority is important for this role. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
