Role and Responsibilities
The Director of B2C Sales will support the Head of Sales of the T-Mobile account (one of Samsung’s top customers globally). He/ She will lead the B2C Channel Sales organization to increase Samsung's market performance within the US smartphone, tablet, and wearable categories, develop/grow channel sales market share, guide channel/field sales capabilities, and to ensure profitable results for the company.
Lead the Postpaid Channel Sales team to achieve the best and most profitable product sales opportunities with our carrier partners. Ensure that financial resources and incentives are used to optimize increased revenue, maximize sell-through, and achieve profitable results.
Develop strategies for sales channels and identify results to be achieved within each channel of business. Identify and develop new business opportunities and business relationships that will increase revenue and profitability.
Spearhead the recruitment, motivation, development, and retention of professionals who can deliver sustained (profitable) revenue growth. Instill a culture of accountability and empowerment, performance-based management, teamwork, and other best practices to achieve the goals of the organization.
Leverage market and internal analytics to develop a go-to-market strategy in support of Samsung objectives, including account and product line-specific programs
Collaborate with marketing, product development, category management, and operations to achieve the company's sales objectives. This will require developing sales strategies, product introduction plans, schedules, and budgets.
Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of progressively senior sales roles in top-tier, branded fast-moving companies, ideally with additional seasoning in categories with similar go-to-market strategies to those of SEA.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or a related area of focus
Proven track record having helped profitably grow a business, having developed and implemented the appropriate policies and processes necessary to drive and manage a business with specific metrics and discipline.
Strong strategic planning skills
A proven self-starter, he/she must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good business judgment, and outstanding managerial leadership ability.

The compensation range for this role is expected to be between $300,000 and $360,000. Actual pay will be determined by considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and comparing them to other employees in the role.
