What You’ll Do:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving AdTheorent’s self-service sales opportunities in the Central Region.
Reporting to the Managing Director of Self-Service, this role will identify opportunities within the programmatic space and work to build a regional go-to market strategy, evangelize new business, generate awareness, and ultimately grow sales of our DSP. The role requires a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, strong relationships with enterprise brands and agencies and exceptional story-telling abilities.
We are looking for someone who is a master at building key relationships while bringing a problem solving and true consultative approach.

Responsibilities:
- Promote AdTheorent's platform and value proposition to agencies and brands, and demonstrate the value of the AdTheorent platform through detailed demos
- Lead the region in identifying market opportunities, overseeing prospecting strategies, and successfully closing new self-service business to consistently achieve and surpass sales goals.
- Develop action plans for key accounts for both immediate and long-term revenue opportunities across the territory.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with agencies and brand decision makers who are in the market for innovative DSP solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market competitors, knowledge, and trends, including evolving technologies, and shifts in the competitive landscape,
- Partner closely with Client Services and Operations to ensure the teams provide a world-class customer service model for the Central Region
- Deliver product feedback to operations and product leaders to ensure the voice of the customer is recognized
- Participate in industry events and conferences
- 10+ years of digital media/ad tech sales experience, including 5+ years in the platform/DSP/DMP/programmatic space.
- 5+ years of management experience, showcasing a proven track record in building, leading, and mobilizing high-performing ad tech sales teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in client-facing presentations and enterprise sales.
- Solution-oriented with the ability to assess problems and drive successful outcomes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to multitask effectively across a large number of unrelated tasks.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude, demonstrating the initiative to achieve desired results.
- Strong rolodex of high-level agency and client-direct relationships in the Central Region, comfortable calling on all organizational levels, and adept at leading senior-level meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product and other teams to achieve results.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to persuade at all levels of an organization.
- Outgoing, charismatic, with a dynamic and passionate personality; skilled in creating professional relationships and offering strong coaching/mentoring.
- Solid understanding of the competitive landscape, digital advertising fundamentals, processes, and technologies.
