Gordian's Inside Sales Representative is selling SaaS based software products to expand the client base of RSMeans cost data solutions. This role ideal for someone interested in building a career in sales. For nearly 70 years, RSMeans data, North America’s leading source of construction cost estimating information, has given owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors and others the tools to project and control the cost of both new building construction and renovation projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a high volume of customers in an assigned territory to hit renewal and upgrade quotas
- Engage with and qualify existing customers to effectively articulate RSMeans' value proposition, determine requirements and expectations, recommend appropriate solutions, emphasize solution features and benefits to effectively acquire customers
- Maintain pipeline opportunities and log all activity in the designated customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of company solutions and competition in the market
- Participate in ongoing training to increase professional growth and job effectiveness
- Perform at a level achieving and exceeding all activity and sales metrics
- Achieve assigned KPI’s and quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in selling SaaS, technology, information services, or business services solutions with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota
- Consistent track record of account management and managing a sales cycle
- Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written), be comfortable in a high-volume fast-paced environment (e.g., prospecting, following up)
- Possess a demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex solutions and services
- A good awareness of the sales process with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs using fact-finding to identify sales opportunities
- Must be able to work well without direct supervision and be a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience using a CRM Solution
- Travel up to 10%
