Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Assist Guests with buying decisions.
- Help Guests select the unit which best suits their needs and advise on towing requirements.
- Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units.
- Present and sell other value-added options.
- Write deals to present to Sales Manager for approval.
- Maintain regular follow up with prospective and current Guests.
- Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals.
- Learn all RV categories- tent trailer, fifth wheels, trailers, and luxury motorhomes.
- Prepare departmental reports and metrics.
- May cross train to perform other duties.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in commission-based, luxury item sales or Guest service preferred.
- RV experience a plus.
- Valid insurable Class C Driver's License.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of Guests or team members of the organization.
- Intermediate computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
- Previous experience dealing with a variety of people in a customer service capacity.
The estimated annual earning range for this position is ($64,480 to $121,200), which includes commissions on (Commissions –Ex: “Individual Sales and/or Individual Gross Profit”, “Department Net”) and/or bonus opportunities such as (Bonuses –Ex: “Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability”).
Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
