Job Description:
The Sr. Specialist I, Sales Support (ProServ) will support the sales process in contributing the accurate discovery and scoping of technical services for each sales opportunity. This role's deliverables directly impact the client onboarding experience and services revenue. The incumbent will aid with Sales and Account Manager scoping requests for Implementation, Training, Conversions, Interfaces and other services to be sold to "Outside the Base" and "Inside the Base" clients. The incumbent will work directly with clients and other NextGen team memebers to perform technical discovery, provide guidance on best practices, scope the needed solutions, and create the appropriate technical statements of work.
- Aid with scoping complex multi-solution multi-service discovery for net new business and growth of existing client base to drive company revenue. Services include but not limited to Implementation, Training, Conversions, Interfaces, etc.
- Participate in the discovery and scoping of professional and technical services for each sales opportunity.
- Facilitate internal calls and client discovery calls to define services offerings.
- Create statements of work, project plans/timelines, services presentation slides; and present proposed solutions to clients and prospects.
- Assist with NextGen Technical Consulting Services offerings, Connected Health, and/or other technical areas.
- Provide a consultative approach to understand the client/prospect issues for resolution and offers alternative solutions that may be more appropriate.
- Assist with data collection and execution of new strategies as part of the closed-loop business process for process improvement.
- Manage, triage, prioritize requests for services. Work with requestors to obtain necessary information for any incomplete/unclear requests and assigns cases to appropriate subject matter experts to facilitate resolution.
- Contribute to the ideation and implementation of changes to the Sales Support process as part of continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Update, implement, and maintain documentation and procedures to standardize processes, tools, reports, metrics to optimize the Sales Support organization.
- Assist with pricing and packaging, SKU management, and SOW maintenance for Technical Consulting Services, Connected Health, and/or other technical areas where needed.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in assessing and developing statement of work.
- Experience supporting project management.
- Experience supporting sales and professional services teams.
- Experience in Healthcare, Clinical, Financial, Technical experience.
- NextGen EHR/PM experience and/or experience with other practice management systems preferred
