What You'll Be Doing:Â
Polycam is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a crucial role in driving our high-volume SMB sales strategy. You will be involved in both qualifying leads and closing deals, focusing on transactions ranging from $1K to $10K. The ideal candidate is proactive, adept at engaging with new prospects, and skilled in building strong relationships with SMB clients. Success in this role is vital for achieving our growth objectives and expanding Polycam’s presence within the SMB market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify and connect with potential SMB clients through outbound calling, emails, and social outreach to build a high-quality pipeline.
- Educate and Engage Prospects: Articulate the value of Polycam’s platform, demonstrating how our solutions address the unique needs of SMBs in various industries.
- Close Deals: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for the client.
- High-Velocity Outreach: Execute a high volume of daily outreach activities, maintaining the momentum and enthusiasm to effectively handle a large pipeline.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to optimize lead quality and refine messaging based on market feedback.
- Maintain CRM Data: Accurately log all activities, interactions, and opportunities in CRM to track progress and help streamline the sales process.

- 1-3 years of experience in sales development within a SaaS environment working with SMB clients.
- Demonstrated success in high-volume, high-velocity sales roles.
- Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying, to closing deals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust.
- Motivated self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce experience is a plus).
