The Mid-Market Account Management team is a sales team that is part of SMBG. This team is focused on helping small and medium sized businesses grow by optimizing their advertising across Meta’s family of apps and services. Account Managers are directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on Meta through marketing consultation, sales, education and support. Ideal candidates will have the ability to drive marketing strategy coupled with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute the tactics. Success in this position requires exceptional consultative sales and client service skills, a willingness to experiment, the ability to thrive in a dynamic & team-focused environment, and a passion for helping others achieve results. This role is a quota-carrying role and requires a passion and interest for Sales and consumer marketing.
Account Manager, CPG Responsibilities
Prioritize book of business based on understanding of client needs
Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of client goals
Become an expert in Meta’s solutions for businesses of all sizes and adapt recommendations quickly to suit varying client needs
Provide dedicated account management to strategic advertising clients and agencies
Develop and implement programs to improve the client/agency experience
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Work cross-functionally within sales and other Meta organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction
Work on initiatives with limited and defined scope and execute independently
Build proficiency and working knowledge of Meta measurement solutions and understand the value of our Meta Identity
Build and continue to refine your point of view on Meta products through regular self-education and discovery
Exhibit curiosity, actively self teaching and seeking input from others
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in account management, brand/performance marketing, digital marketing, sales, or consulting
Proven communication and presentation skills
Experience growing revenue and client relationships
Experience developing, leading, and implementing scaled sales programs that align to org business and product objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in marketing Consumer Packaged Good brands or selling to Growth/Performance Marketers
Experience working with a portfolio or carrying a yearly revenue quota
Experience influencing C-level executives to build effective and impactful relationships. Interest for building great client relationships
Experience prioritizing and managing tasks within a fast paced environment
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
Have a fundamental understanding of vertical(s)/market(s) industry and client’s business model

$85,000/year to $126,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
