Job Description:
This job is responsible for identifying and developing new client relationships with healthcare professionals in their respective territories through direct calling and networking efforts. Key responsibilities include independently developing referral business through intermediaries (consultants, attorneys, accountants, brokers, and realtors), analyzing client financials and product needs, and implementing appropriate sales strategies to carry out responsibilities and achieve production goals. Job expectations includes 70% travel, credit acumen, knowledge of products, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prospects new clients and centers of influences
- Communicates, negotiates, and developments client leads by intermediaries referrals
- Identifies drivers of profitability and cashflow and be able to conduct an analysis from different financial statements
- Basic Treasury Management Knowledge
- Manages an extensive portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $5-50 million and helps companies save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs
- Acquires, deepens, and maintains profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting and enhancing existing relationships
- Collaborates with local market stakeholders and teammates throughout the bank, including Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services in order to design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects

Required Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentations
- Self-motivated and result oriented
- 5+ experience in commercial lending, business development, commercial credit and portfolio management in business banking or middle market sector required
- Management of an extensive portfolio of clients with annual revenues of $5-$50 million
- Proven track record of sales, prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships
- Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysis to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong desire to create business working with referral sources
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance or economics
- Formal credit/lending training / strong- credit skills with a focus on Practice lending
- Proven business acumen by working with lending products and Small Businesses to provide solutions and services to fit their financial needs
- Demonstrated sales ability; influences with impact; ability to develop new client relationship and new business
- Leads and facilitates dialogue with a variety of complex clients and prospects regarding topics such as the client and prospect industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues
- Adapts to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed
