- 8+ years of work experience implementing sustainable industry solutions (e.g., buildings, energy, materials manufacturing, transportation logistics, waste)
- 5+ years of Product and/or Project Management experience
- 5+ years Business development and engagement experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or related field
- International work experience implementing sustainable industry solutions with (e.g., buildings, energy, materials manufacturing, transportation logistics, waste)
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MCP, MBA)
- Familiarity with supply chain emissions sources, challenges, and supply chain finance
- Familiarity with AI/ML and integration with sustainability solutions
- Ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, take initiative, and multi-task in an agile environment
- Highly proficient writing and public speaking skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. The Global IMPACT team—Integrated Marketing, Partnerships, Action, Communications, and The Climate Pledge (TCP)—establishes Amazon’s leadership in corporate sustainability by demonstrating how we use our size and scale to have a positive impact on people and the planet. This team works both within Amazon and externally on partnerships and joint initiatives.
As part of The IMPACT Strategic Projects and Programs team, the candidate will work with internal Amazon business partners and Climate Pledge signatories to support carbon reduction goals across various industry supply chains. The candidate will lead, co-lead and support the development, implementation, and scale-up of projects that lead to measurable supply chain carbon reductions. The ideal candidate will have expertise across at least one industry domain (e.g., buildings, energy, materials manufacturing, transportation logistics, waste), knowledge of supply chain financing solutions, and public-private sector collaboration experience.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with signatories of The Climate Pledge to co-create and/or support supply chain decarbonization projects
• Work cross-functionally with Amazon business leaders to analyze supply chain landscape and emissions reduction opportunities, and bring in signatories and/or partners to advance solutions
• Assess supplier needs by industry and geography to help identify barriers to supply chain decarbonization
• Address access to finance solutions for suppliers across geographies by identifying and implementing solutions (working with private commercial and/or multi-lateral development banks)
• Implement systems to track and report progress across projects
• Investigate the use of AI/ML to automate decarbonization solutions
• Share knowledge and learnings through written case studies, and other knowledge assets in partnership with WWS Marketing/Comms teams
