What you’ll do:
As an Account Manager at Quantiphi, you will play a critical role in driving business development and achieving strategic goals within the utility industry. You will lead customers through the entire business cycle, building and deepening executive relationships with client technology leaders. Your primary focus will be on formulating Quantiphi’s strategy for the energy sector, including solutions, offerings, and go-to-market strategies tailored to utility companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead clients in the utility sector through the entire business cycle, managing the sales process effectively.
Build and deepen executive relationships with technology leaders (C-Level, VPs, Directors) at utility companies to identify and drive new business opportunities in energy-related technologies.
Formulate Quantiphi’s strategy for the utility industry, including solutions offerings and go-to-market strategies.
Execute a packaged offerings and solutions strategy, encompassing technical sales enablement, marketing, and customer engagement tailored to the energy sector.
Influence the long-term strategic direction of utility clients, serving as a trusted business partner.
Understand each client’s technology footprint, growth plans, business drivers, and technology strategy within the energy sector.
Conduct collaborative ideation sessions and workshops with utility client stakeholders and Quantiphi team members.
Develop a strategic vision/narrative based on the specific needs of the utility industry, from the executive level down to specific products or experiences.
Lead a team of Sales Engineers & Sr. Sales Engineers to effectively sell solutions related to cloud, AI, and data science, focused on utility sector needs such as energy management, sustainability, and operational optimization.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of Consultative B2B Sales experience in selling technology solutions, preferably within the utility or energy sector.
5+ years of expert knowledge and business acumen in the energy/utility industry domain.
8+ years of experience with Cloud, Data Science, and Data Analytics.
5+ years in a coach/player role and client-facing/account management and growth role.
Other Qualifications:
Excellent communication, articulation, abstraction, analytical and presentations skills.
Executive demeanor and experience working with senior client executives
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic and time-sensitive work environment.
Knowledge and willingness to learn and apply emerging trends in business research, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Cloud.
4 years college degree OR equivalent work experience.
Travel to customer sites, conferences and other related events as required - up to 30%.
