Position Description:
CAI is looking for a driven and dedicated Business Development Manager and client relationship specialist to drive strategic growth in the Southeast region. Position would be based in or near the Raleigh, NC area.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the region’s customer base and produces new projects for our engineering team.
-Foster long term relationships with industry decision makers and executives to earn “trusted partner” status with key stakeholders.
-Leverage “trusted partner” status and networking driven connections with current and future clients to be viewed as a strategic partner.
-Promote CAI’s integrated services to help our client’s facility be ready for operation and increase overall company growth.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with each of our business area leaders, business development and operations team members, as well as others to achieve the following:
Business Development:
a. Identify clients with capital budgets for pharmaceutical, biotech, and start-up projects, positioning CAI on bidders’ lists.
b. Establishing rapport with potential clients to arrange meetings and maintain relationships.
c. Partner with marketing and business development teams to create strategies and game plans.
d. Execute business development objectives in conjunction with the company business plan
e. Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan encompassing sales, revenue and expense controls factors.
f. Manage proposal responses to clients with support of operations, marketing, and sales operations
g. Utilizing Salesforce for necessary job functions and transparent communication.
h. Maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with current clients while establishing new relationships with new potential clients.
i. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to establish and maintain existing relationships.
j. Volunteering in professional societies and organizations to boost personal and company goals.
Marketing:
a. Planning and preparing client presentations with the assistance of our marketing team.
b. Coordinating with marketing on lead generation and lead maintenance.
c. Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities using our research tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Industry Reports, etc.)
d. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives within your territory
e. Supporting emerging markets by developing new relationships and improving sales
f. Utilizing and engaging in CAI Social Media campaigns
Relationship Management:
a. Develop and maintain client relationships and accounts
b. Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients either independently or with the help of our business development and operations teams.
c. Partner with the business development and marketing teams to carry out client satisfaction surveys and reviews.
