What we are looking for…
As the Group Sales Manager at AvantStay, you will be responsible for driving business growth in our expanding Nashville market, which includes single-family residences (SFRs), apartments, and hotel-style properties. Your primary focus will be on outbound outreach to facilitate group buyouts and bookings, developing partnerships with local Nashville agencies and companies, and working closely with guests to coordinate corporate events at our properties. We are looking for someone who can quickly build rapport with new people and not be afraid of navigating large organizations and finding the right allies within them. We want a self-starter who can bring commitment, initiative, and professionalism to our corporate event sales efforts.
What you’ll do…
- Lead outbound outreach efforts to secure group buyouts and bookings for our Nashville properties
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local Nashville agencies to drive corporate event and long-term stay business
- Work closely with guests to coordinate and set up events and VIP guest needs at our properties
- Manage the sales pipeline for group travel in the Nashville market
- Maintain proper tracking and metrics for all B2B and sales outreach
- Maintain CRM and Senior-Level Contacts
- Work cross-functionally with teams including Operations, Corporate Sales, and Revenue team; reporting to Lead Asset Manager of Nashville assets
- Support the overall growth of our expansion in the Nashville market
This role will be hybrid. While you will be able to primarily work from home, you must be local in Nashville and able to meet with team members and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
What you’ll bring…
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality sales, event management, or related field
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated strategic & financial acumen
- Experience in hospitality and/or event management industries is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the Nashville market and local business landscape
- Tech-savvy, with experience in CRM systems and ability to learn our proprietary systems
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (both remotely and on-site as needed)
- Established relationships in Nashville (preferred)
