As Sales Manager, you will assist the Area Sales Manager by supporting, coaching and developing a team of growth oriented outside sales professionals to ensure effective sales coverage in all product lines resulting in annual growth that meets or exceeds our plan.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations with the Area Sales Manager to develop and control territory sales programs
- Coordinates sales coverage by establishing sales areas, quotas, and goals, and advises territory salespeople and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
- Utilizes sales statistics to manage goals territory has for profitable growth and retention
- Reviews market data to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates. Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote products
- Manages sales expense budget
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing rebooking and sales opportunities
- Coordinates meetings to provide to the sales team motivation and update them on new and existing products, marketing programs, sales techniques, new styles, etc.
- Develops and supervises sales contests to accommodate goals of company, subject to the approval of the Area Sales Manager
- Reviews and monitors activity and expense reports of the sales team
- Rides with individual sales people at least once per month
- Ensures adequate sales coverage to ensure existing and new customers receive a consistent positive message from Lifetouch
- Always manages territory business within the Company’s customer relationship management system (i.e. Salesforce) in accordance with established procedures (includes documenting all sales activities, managing opportunity stages and consistently cleaning account data)
- Always participates in ongoing sales training (Sandler and other content) as provided and required by the Company; consistently implements the Sandler Sales techniques in accordance with provided training and established procedures
The Skills You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of proven outside sales experience years of sales or customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and training

It is helpful, but not required to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related field preferred; five years of proven sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and training.
