Milpower Source is looking for a Territory Sales Associate to support our Western region. This is a remote position. In this role, you will be responsible for growing annual bookings within pre-identified accounts, accurately forecasting customer and market needs, and implementing the sales strategy, while ensuring high customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager, who oversees sales activities in the Western Region. Team members reside in the NH office and remote locations throughout the United States.
Job Description:
The Territory Sales Associate will help develop and implement the territory’s sales strategy and action plan to help achieve the company’s desired annual bookings and revenue objectives. This will include:
· Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision makers in pre-defined accounts within the territory.
· Understand and document the account’s funded programs, new pursuits, and capture strategy in partnership with the Milpower source Business Development team and regional sales manager.
· Execute the tactical sales activities defined by the Regional Sales Manager
· Partner with the Inside Sales Specialists to ensure on time delivery of quotations, specifications, and other requests of the customer
· Maintains an accurate and updated log of all programs, including delivery schedule, personnel, and customers/end-users within our CRM.
· Provide the customer with periodic status reports, as required.
· Identify and pursue sales leads with customers within the territory. Quickly understand key opportunity details and consult with team members to define a capture strategy.
· Min 1-2 years' experience in defense and/or aerospace industry.
- Power solutions, military electronics, or networking experience is a preferred.
- Highly developed & demonstrated teamwork skills and experience working remotely.
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering. Other degrees considered
- Extraordinary communication skills, illustrating proficiency in both verbal and written communications in English
- Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity, ethics, and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Ability to work in a multinational, multi-cultural corporation
- Experience in the global marketplace is a plus.
- SalesForce or CRM experience is a plus.
