Due to tremendous growth of the company, we are searching for a hard-working, driven candidate to join our already successful Sales team and take responsibility to develop relationships and drive business in our Sports accounts specifically focusing on sports teams, conferences, leagues, digital media companies, broadcast rights holders and other market segments that are associated to Sports in the United States.
LiveU is the number one provider of end-to-end live delivery solutions to the broadcast and online markets. We are leveraging this market position to expand LiveU’ s presence within the Sports market and are recruiting a Sales Director to lead this expansion. Qualified individuals should have proven experience and effective business contacts with Sports teams, conferences, leagues, digital media companies, regional/national rights holders and other market segments that are associated to sports in the United States. Ability to sell solution-based products and identify new business opportunities within the sports marketplace. Candidate will cover the Central and Midwest regions of the U.S,.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to build, implement and drive immediate sales and establish long-term relationships with accounts
- Prepare bids, process specifications, and presentations
- Serve as a solution-based consultant for accounts including sales calls & presentations
- Create account action plans as well as set and meet revenue goals for designated product line
- Understand all aspects of our business which includes working with distribution channels, mechanics of conducting a sale, market needs, trade shows, and sales strategies
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities that supports the individual’s sales goals
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience selling solutions in the sports production market in the United States with strong executive contacts.
- In depth understanding of sports teams, league and conferences and their day-to-day operations
- Demonstrated history of sales achievements including growing sales and development of new business of technology solutions
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision a must
- Technically capable person able to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss technical features in detail
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
- Collaboration skills to build relationships
- Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers
- Detail oriented and organized
- Computer & CRM skills (Microsoft Office, Salesforce)
- Advantage to candidates with experience in: Wireless Network solutions, Video solutions, Mobile Solutions, Live Production, Satellite/Fiber/IP Video Transmission, Cloud production.
