About the Role:
ActiveFence is looking for a motivated and talented Senior Sales Operations Manager to help refine and manage its operational rhyme and lead to cash process, provide strategic analyses and instill operational thoughtfulness to our GTM organization. As a core member of the rev ops team you will lead key parts of the strategic planning process, alongside sales processes and provide valuable insights to management. You should be highly analytical and able to work directly with sales and marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. You will use data and qualitative information to help our GTM leadership manage the business. You will help build our analytics foundation including executive reporting, health of the business reviews, dashboards and indicators, alongside taking ownership on relevant tools and systems to insure data integrity.
The position is based remotely in the New York area.
Responsibilities:
Understand and help run and maintain the lead to cash process, full ownership on the sales operational rhythm as a business partner to sales , marketing and other organizations
- Develop alongside relevant stakeholders and maintain an in-depth understanding of the lead to cash process, including pipeline management, lead generation, and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and optimize the lead qualification ,nurturing processes and other relevant process to help grow our business
- Regularly review and refine processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of the current GTM strategy
- Be a strategic thought partner to ActiveFence’s cross-functional leaders to help set and execute the sales strategy to drive revenue growth
- Support the weekly top-line forecast process including attending sales leadership forecast meetings, performing pipeline analytics, and driving adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards
- Help align and streamline communication between teams (Sales-marketing, Sales-finance, AEs-Product etc)
Sales tech stack and data ownership
- Own the sales tech stack, maintain and optimize it, primarily Salesforce, Gong, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Navigator and Outreach, to ensure seamless operation and integration.
- Support the implementation any additional tools as needed to support process
- Own and ensure the integrity of sales data, providing actionable insights through regular reporting and analysis to enhance team performance and strategy.
Enablement
- Own sales Enablement to help train sales teams on best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Constant involvement on how to improve sales productivity and shorten sales cycles via tools, process or training
The salary range for this role is 200-250K OTE - Range may vary based on experience
- Major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-oriented fields
- 5+ years proven experience of Sales Operations in a software sales organization
- Experience working closely with marketing operations
- Ability to drive processes end-to-end from concept to execution
- Ability to extract and turn reports and dashboards into insights and actions
- Organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand processes at a company and individual rep level
- Strong planning and process orientation
- Proficient in the use of sales methodologies (including MEDDIC) and sales force automation tools
- Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and determine focused objectives and a clear path forward in the face of open questions
- Self-starter. Proactive in nature, actively participate, and self-motivated
- Advanced knowledge of Gusuite & MS Office is required
