Securitize is actively seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Licensed Sales Director to enhance our team. This pivotal role centers on propelling the sales of our alternative fund products by engaging with affluent individual investors, Qualified Purchasers, and Family Offices. The ideal candidate will boast an extensive network within the investor community and possess seasoned expertise in the sales of alternative investments, including venture capital, private equity, and private credit funds.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the alternative investment landscape and the ability to autonomously manage the entire sales process from initiation to closure. This position is an individual contributor role, perfect for a proactive networker skilled at capitalizing on direct opportunities, without the responsibility of managing a team. It is not a supervisory or senior management position, focusing instead on direct sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the product expert on Securitize’s alternative fund offerings, deeply understanding the investment strategies, performance metrics, and associated risks.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with prospective clients across various sectors, aligning our solutions with their investment objectives to expand Securitize's Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Lead the sales cycle independently, from prospecting and lead qualification through to presenting, negotiating, and sealing deals.
- Design and implement effective strategies to elevate brand visibility and market penetration for Securitize’s alternative fund products among both new and existing clientele.
- Serve as the primary liaison for diverse client segments, offering detailed product insights, addressing queries, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to formulate cohesive sales strategies, develop marketing collateral, and enhance client communications.
Qualifications:
- Must have 8+ years of proven success in alternative investment sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A robust network within the RIA domain and other institutional clients.
- Mandatory possession of FINRA Series 7, 63, or 66 licenses.
- A well-established network in the Qualified Purchaser sphere.
- Preferably experienced with private banks, placement agents, private funds (investor relations), alternative investment platforms, or wire houses.
- Proven track record of fostering and maintaining client relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficient use of PowerPoint

The strategy should demonstrate the candidate’s understanding of the market, ability to engage potential clients, and skills in executing sales initiatives to drive growth.
