Position Overview
As an Account Executive at Vantage Discovery, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on enterprise-level e-commerce companies. Your ability to understand complex business needs, communicate the value of our platform, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers will be essential to our growth and success.
Responsibilities
Prospect into and qualify new business opportunities with large, multinational retailers, brands and online marketplaces.
Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand customer needs and collaborate with Applications Engineers to deliver compelling value-based product demonstrations.
Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals which typically involve POCs, multiple stakeholders, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs.
Provide regular forecasts and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product enhancements to effectively position our solutions.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to represent Vantage Discovery and generate new leads.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce.
Strong understanding of ecommerce and AI.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience selling AI, ML, or data analytics solutions.
Knowledge of search, AI, and LLM technologies.
Awards for top achievement (President’s club, Winner’s circle, Top 10%).
Prior experience in a high-growth technology startup.
