Job Description
The Salesforce Operations Manager is the main contact point for Salesforce operations, owning the maintenance, implementation, and configuration of Salesforce. This role will partner cross-functionally, serving as a subject matter expert capable of providing technical support to ensure end user effectiveness and generating data-based insight strategic recommendations. This role will streamline and enhance business operations at Appcast, positioning Salesforce as a driver of business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Salesforce Operations:
- In collaboration with senior leaders, execute a comprehensive Salesforce strategy that aligns with company objectives, ensuring the platform supports and enhances business processes.
- Lead Salesforce-related projects, from initial scoping and planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce initiatives, collaborating with senior management, sales, delivery, COE, marketing, and other departments to gather requirements and provide solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend Salesforce products and features to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer engagement.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively use Salesforce and connected systems.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce trends, tools, and best practices, and ensure the team is equipped with relevant certifications and training.
Salesforce Implementation & Optimization:
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of Salesforce, ensuring it meets the specific needs of the business.
- Optimize and enhance Salesforce workflows, processes, and integrations, focusing on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Work closely with legal and other internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within Salesforce.
Connected Systems & Integration:
- Collaborate with the Financial Operations Manager and other department heads to ensure connected systems, such as FinancialForce, work harmoniously with Salesforce, addressing any technical issues or challenges.
- Manage the installation, configuration and integration of Salesforce with other business systems (e.g., CPQ, Appcast Portal, Hubspot, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeanData, etc), ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and analytics within Salesforce, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Monitor Salesforce performance and usage, making data-driven recommendations to optimize processes and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with business units to define and track KPIs, ensuring Salesforce is a driver of business growth.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Lightning, Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Outreach, ZoomInfo or other platforms that integrate with Salesforce
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration across diverse business units.
- Expertise in mapping processes and systems to align with the end-to-end customer journey.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of best practices in data management and data security.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years' experience working in Revenue, Sales or Business Operations.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Certified Administrator with a deep understanding of the platform's features and capabilities.
- Proven experience in Salesforce strategy, implementation, and optimization, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
- Previous experience managing Salesforce projects including defining project scope, creating a project plan, resource management, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects.

Expected Salary Range: $78,500-$130,500
