About the Role
As a Sales Director, Agencies (Associate – Senior level), you will be an essential part of our Front Office Team, working within our Federal Agencies verticals. Sales Directors engage new customers, present new and innovative use cases to solve customer challenges, and win new business expanding Leadership Connects new customer logos. This role will focus on these responsibilities within the government agency space. You will take ownership of new client interactions with a strong focus on a solutions-oriented mindset to meet the needs of our clients.
Core Functions of the Role:
- Grow your assigned vertical by closing new clients, building relationships with end users and top decision-makers
- Engage with executive leaders to discuss business-relevant solutions and effectively communicate the product benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans in collaboration with members of the Front Office sales team, including Business Development Representatives
- Become a subject matter expert in your prospect's industry through research, consult with clients to understand their relationship development strategies, and identify areas where Leadership Connect can help
- Provide appropriate solutions for every prospective customer, highlighting Leadership Connects' ability to add speed, efficiency, and accuracy to their work, ultimately boosting revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability
About You:
- Results-driven and competitive mindset, with a track record of actively seeking out and engaging customers, strong achievement in new business sales, and exceeding quota goals
- Strong new business sales experience, ideally within the Public Sector or Federal Agency space
- Experience navigating the federal sales process, both within a program like Fedramp and outside of such programs
- Ability to create value for government agency prospects via developing white papers, creating ability statements, or leveraging recent government mandates and guidelines to position products and advance the sales process
- Success in leading in-person meetings with senior executives
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand how our clients develop relationships for influence and business development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- A team player mindset, willing to contribute and support both clients and the company wherever necessary
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can actively contribute to the development and implementation of new processes
