Job Description
The Lowe’s Business Sales Analyst is responsible for developing and executing data analysis and providing insights for the Commercial Home Center team that supports MBC corporate and team strategies to drive profitable growth and increase market share. This role will support activities related to sales functions for our MBC businesses and sales channels for the Lowe’s account. This includes the development and execution of new and improved dashboards, presentation creation, analysis, business insights, forecasting support, and tactical preparation related to customer programs, meetings, calls and events, as well as utilizing internal MasterBrand Cabinets dashboards and reports.
This role is very collaborative, working directly with our MBC account team leaders and MBC cross functional teams, to include exposure to our customer. As the Lowe’s account team business analyst, you will leverage your data analytics skills to translate business questions into actionable insights, support ongoing data needs, design tools to facilitate data-driven decisions and deliver high quality analytical solutions.
Organizational Relationship
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Forecasting and Data Analysis for Lowe’s account team.
Accountabilities
- Utilize, develop and implement retail dashboards and provide business insights to support strategies relative to the Lowe’s account.
- Identify opportunities from within the existing MasterBrand line that will achieve the "best practice" scenario and recommended additions that will result in market share gains.
- Supporting VP and Directors with relationships at the Merchant level and beyond through providing strategic business analysis to create and enhance the partnership across all MBC stock, MTO, PRO, and online businesses at Lowe’s.
- Provide analysis to assist direct manager with demand and forecasting across all channels as needed.
- Assist in development of annual budgets, profitability and sales action plans; monitor results vs. plan throughout the year, and provide data analysis and insights to support adjusting strategy when appropriate.
- Learn the business, execute our strategies and partner with Lowe’s on their objectives, needs, and strategies to create win-win solutions. Use analytical skills and expertise to build the MasterBrand business within the channel.
- Learn and support Category Management with analysis and insights to drive Fact-Based Selling concepts to strengthen existing business and gain new opportunities.
- Assist with the creation of presentations.
- Create dashboards and provided analysis for new products, promotions, and trends.
- Create and maintain promotional tracker.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion.
- Provide summaries of customer meetings, status on current programs, and outlook on future opportunities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data Analytics/business Intelligence, or a related field is required.
- Background or experience with lean tools is recommended.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, Power BI, and exposure to Qlik Sense.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in big box retail.
- Exposure to statistics, trend modeling, predictive modeling.
